Layperson's Bible College began in Toronto in the fall of 2006. Rev. Keith A. Butler Sr., Bishop and Founder of Word of Faith International Christian Center in Southfield, Michigan, is also the founder of Layperson's Bible School (1981). The school is presently found in churches throughout the United States and in several other countries of the world. Its purpose is to give laypersons and lay-ministers a deeper working knowledge of the truths of the Bible.

LBC is not only a systematic study of the Bible, but also a detailed study of your authority as a believer in Jesus Christ. It will strengthen you in your walk of faith, and give you a solid foundation and insight into your devotional and church life.

LBC is currently a non-degree diploma program. All courses must be completed to receive the LBC Diploma.  It is not necessary to be a member of Word of Faith Church to enroll in LBC.
